About Stack

What is Stack?

Stack by Creative Commerce is a bold, fully loaded Shopify theme built for stores that need to do it all — from deep catalog browsing to high-impact visual storytelling.

Designed for merchants who want every tool in one place, Stack brings together image hotspots, before/after sliders, lookbooks, galleries, zoom, rollover effects, and slideshows to build a shopping experience that is as immersive as it is conversion-focused. Backed by a complete navigation and merchandising setup — including mega menus, in-menu promos, enhanced search, and collection page navigation — it pairs visual depth with the structure needed to move customers from discovery to checkout.

Stack lets you run a storefront that leads with striking imagery and delivers on performance — with the richest visual toolkit available, paired with smart selling features like cross-selling, swatch filters, countdown timers, and customizable contact forms, all working together without compromise.

Pre-Designed Theme Styles

Stack includes 5 professionally built presets, each designed for a specific industry and selling strategy.

  1. Stack — Built for fitness and training equipment brands, leading with dark, high-energy visuals and bold product layouts that match the intensity of the category.

  2. Workbench — Designed for tools and heavy-duty equipment stores, with structured merchandising built to move large, technical product ranges.

  3. Gardenia — Tailored for outdoor and horticultural retailers, using warm earth tones and generous imagery to guide customers through seasonal collections and tool categories.

  4. Setup — Suited for workspace furniture and equipment brands, with a clean, neutral layout that puts product detail and functionality front and center.

  5. Lager — Made for food and beverage brands, using rich lifestyle photography and a warm feel that turns products into an experience worth tasting.

Each preset shows how Stack fits different industries while keeping a consistent focus on product presentation, visual merchandising, and driving sales.

FAQ

Are theme updates free of charge?
Yes. All updates are completely free, so you’ll always have access to the latest features and improvements without additional cost.
Do I have to update my theme?
No. Updates are optional. Your theme will continue to work as-is, and you only need to update if you want the latest features or enhancements.
Will my custom code or modifications be kept after an update?
No. Any custom code changes made by you, a developer, or an app will not carry over automatically. To preserve them, you or your developer will need to manually transfer code or reconfigure affected apps. Guidance can be provided if needed.
Why am I seeing the “could not be added to the Theme Library” message?
Shopify allows up to 19 unpublished themes per store. Check that you have space available. Some major updates include structural changes that prevent seamless installation. In these cases, you may need to install the theme directly from the Shopify Theme Store and manually copy your previous settings.
