About Shift
What is Shift?
Shift by Apparent Collective is a premium Shopify theme built for brands where the object speaks—and the storefront is engineered to ensure it's heard.
Rooted in essentials and designed to persuade, Shift combines authoritative typography, commanding full-width layouts, and a quiet, permanent aesthetic that lets the product lead without distraction. Every section is structured to frame what matters — turning each scroll into a considered step toward purchase. Bold enough to leave an impression, minimal enough to endure.
Shift is built for brands that don't chase trends — they set the standard. Whether you're selling furniture, objects, or spaces, Shift gives you a storefront with the confidence and permanence your product deserves.
Pre-Designed Theme Styles
Shift includes 5 pre-made presets, each built around a distinct environment and visual language:
- Shift — The flagship preset. Clean, authoritative, and timeless — a commanding layout for brands that lead with confidence.
- Sketch — Raw and considered, designed for design-led or artisan brands with a creative, process-forward feel.
- Jardin— Soft and expressive, perfect for floral, lifestyle, or seasonal brands with a delicate, curated aesthetic.
- Prototype — Experimental and editorial, suited for concept-driven or emerging brands with a bold, forward-looking identity.
- Wire — Stripped back to the essential — a bare, architectural layout for brands where the product is the only decoration needed.
Each preset demonstrates how structure, type scale, spatial rhythm, and tone can shift to serve entirely different worlds — from the delicate to the industrial, the familiar to the experimental.
